"The location of this property in Sulmona is great for getting around to nearby cities (we had a car), walking to restaurants and/or stores or just for an evening pasegiatta along the main street and piazzas. "We were a group of 15 family and friends visiting the Abruzzo region and Villa Carlucci was just perfect. We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. Dr. Carlucci was wonderful - very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore. The Villa and grounds were beautiful and very well kept and we loved our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Was met with a big smile, an offer for a coffee, and very easy check-in which was welcome after hiking and finishing in the rain. It is wonderfully situated if you love small towns, mountains and lakes. The breakfast right before I checked out was really good and energized me for another hike in Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. Would stay here again. Thank you!"
