"Check in was great and so was the staff. Overnight person that was to have breakfast out and coffee made before 7:00 am didn't have coffee ready nor did she have the food ready. We were on an overnight trip so we could wait however there were guys that were leaving for work and came for coffee and had to leave without because she didn't bother to make sure it was full. Not sure what she does behind the wall but she should pay more attention to the guests. Linn when we checked in was great and the lady who checked us out was great also!~"

"What a gem!! This hotel is more like a resort, but with the charm of an old, southern, colonial estate. It’s gorgeous! The rooms even have regular keys with a little brass key tag with your room number. The rooms were clean, have great a/c and tv, and a very comfortable bed. There’s no microwave or fridge which was fine, we don’t use them. The pool was huge and well kept, and overlooked the lake just like the pictures suggest. The staff was welcoming and super helpful. We walked into town and although we found it a bit overpriced, lots of shopping and dining available. We already have plans to stay again soon!"
