"This is a 136 year old house which has been up dated.Toaster old, broken.. Frying pan warped. Lots of dishes. Kitchen update good. Master bath update nice!The mattresses in the front bedroom are in dire need of replacement. Outdoor cushions for chairs dirty.Fire table did not work.Even though freeway noise, and train noise were mentioned, it was very loud. Ear plugs recommend for sleeping. One ply toilet paper was not appreciated.Great landscaping! Really nice back yard!"

"This place accommodated our needs just fine and the location was for sure the best part. The house itself is nothing fancy & could use some updating. Seemed a little odd to have wires just taped to the floor in the closet and the shower in the master was difficult to turn on. Kitchen could be better stocked if you want to cook in often. "

"Wonderful house to stay in! Great layout, well stocked, and nice beds. Only 10 minutes from Santa Barbara and super convenient to everything in the area. "

"Overall: Not a good experience. Poor Quality.Doorframes were crooked which led to drafts in the room. Didn't advertise poor construction of room either. For over 200 a night, I felt my value could have been better spent at a motel 6. Towels had stains and the bed was semi dirty. Lots of pill bugs wandering the bathroom."

"We enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfy, and spacious house. The multiple decks made for a pleasant time relaxing outdoors and listening to the birds including the hummingbirds zooming around. The kitchen was clean and well stocked and we had everything we needed during our stay. The location was convenient for quick trips in to central Santa Barbara and the local beaches and attractions. We enjoyed our walks down the steep hill to several nearby cafes and a large bookstore. The location also felt very peaceful and private with all the surrounding greenery."

"We had a wonderful mini getaway staying in Jennifer’s room. We truly enjoyed the scent of jasmine trees on the patio and the beautiful views from the window. It was such a pleasure to have our morning coffee while watching the sunrise — a perfect, peaceful start to the day.The location is fantastic — within walking distance to great restaurants, cozy cafés, bike paths, and the ocean. The host is friendly and always easy to reach.We highly recommend this place for a romantic weekend or a relaxing short vacation "
