"The location is quiet. It feels like you're stepping into a brand new freshly built building. The cleaning staff are fantastic. It's really something little but it made a difference. They made our bed and incorporated my son's stuffed animals and personal blanket into the presentation. This just goes to show the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel. 5 stars doesn't do the Wingate in Kanata justice. I will be staying here again anytime I make my way to Ottawa/Kanata"
"We really enjoyed our stay! This hotel is close enough to downtown that it was cheap and easy to uber there and back. Room was clean, updated and the staff was very friendly. We had a room on the first floor for our first night and asked to be moved since the foot and vehicle traffic was annoying. Staff accommodated the request no problem and our second floor room got the next two nights was excellent. Breakfast was also great, but go early to avoid the crowds! "
