"We stayed at Espoir Misawa for four nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit slightly dated. The ski-in / ski-out feature was also a huge plus, and the dinner course menu was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality we received by Misawa-san and the team, which made the stay an unforgettable one. "

"We had a great time at the hotel and being able to ski straight on to the ski fields. As a family if 5 being able to share one large room was great for the budget and the staff were always accommodating of our requests. Would definitely come back."

"The owners are very friendly and will help with any issue you have. This is not a hotel but very much like a traditional ryokan in that you sleep on a futon on the floor. Don't expect it to be a hotel as in Japanese ways it is not. What you do get is very friendly hosts, that will try and accommodate you to their best. We had a great stay and made new friends in the process. We would certainly consider staying here again in the future."

"Good location if you want away from the hustle and bustle yet close to ski fields. Great little in house restaurant. Rooms are quite big. Owners are fantastic, very helpful and nice. They have cheap lift passes. Overall has a great time."
