"We stayed at Espoir Misawa for four nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit slightly dated. The ski-in / ski-out feature was also a huge plus, and the dinner course menu was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality we received by Misawa-san and the team, which made the stay an unforgettable one. "

"The owners are very friendly and will help with any issue you have. This is not a hotel but very much like a traditional ryokan in that you sleep on a futon on the floor. Don't expect it to be a hotel as in Japanese ways it is not. What you do get is very friendly hosts, that will try and accommodate you to their best. "We had the best experience staying at Pension Hobby during our visit to Japan. The owners are very kind and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our room was simple and clean with a modern space heater. Norikura itself is tiny and the number of restaurants is limited.
