"Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. "We enjoyed a good overnight stay at East Ayton Lodge Hotel, which was comfortable and well-situated. We were happy with our room and with dinner and breakfast. The room was fine for our dog and the garden provided an opportunity for a short walk ..."

"I know it was late season but reception and bar not manned. Heating on full blast, was too much. Good breakfast, worth the extra, nice to see dogs allowed, even though I did not take my own, Scarborough is a very dog friendly place."

"A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

"Very helpful staff as we had to check in late, easy to reach via phone as well, useful booklet in the room and more info leaflets in the communal space."
