Beautiful Lodge and grounds. Great access to boat slips and great boat launch. Our cabin (daybreak) was literally right over the water. Woke up to waves lapping every morning. Lots for the kids to do and fishing is bar none"

"What a beautiful place for a family reunion with the 13 of us. The historic main cabin is charmingly old school and has a great porch. We enjoyed hanging out there on cool rainy days. "Shaun is an awesome host. Third summer trip in last three years and plan to come again next year. Enough walleye to feed the family for days! Imagine an entire island all for yourself with everything you would normally have at home. Comfortably slept family of five. Bathroom, water, and boat ride to island are all no problems and should not stop you from booking. "My family and my sons two friends had such an amazing time. The rooms are super spacious that even the bunk bed room was big enough for 4 boys (2-12 yr olds and 2- 14 yr olds). The master bedroom was wonderful and had the best view of the lake and property. All the beds were comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space in the main area of the cabin for every one to sit and lounge. The chairs in the living room area were super comfortable to sit in, have tea...

"We were only there one night, needed to attend a family wedding held at another resort. We had to spend most of our time at the other place and were extremely sorry that we couldn't spend more time at the Island View. We plan to return for our own visit over a long weekend, maybe bring a couple friends. Very nice place, lovely view, friendly and considerate host."
