"I had a great day at the Maverick. The property was clean and very well maintained, the access to the beach was easy and the pool area was was right next to the beach. I would highly recommend the Maverick for a reasonably priced oceanfront property in Ormond Beach."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was one of my favorite things about the hotel—it’s right on the beach, which made it very convenient and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall I had a nice experience. The property could use a little maintenance and refreshing in some areas, such as a fresh coat of paint and some work on the flooring in the front-desk area. Nothing major or anything that took away from my stay, but a few updates would really make the property even nicer. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Great location for pool & beach, with restaurants & mini golf nearby. Exceptional staff. Nicely stocked kitchen and beach towel available. Noisy A/C. Unusable balcony as the A/C puts out hot air outside and the glass rail holds that heat in the balcony area. Handheld shower bracket was broken but worked, and the overhead rain shower worked."
