"My room had roaches one of the clerks said that they were gonna send the maintenance to spray our room in the morning. She never did. They charged my card $861 05 days before I arrived they were supposed to charge my card when I got there! The guy at the front desk was very intimidating when I asked him if that was normal for them to charge me that early he said yes, and that the owner of the property was from South Africa, which was still absolutely unexcused the housekeeper never came and cleaned our room until the last day that we were there, which was Friday. When I asked the staff about getting charged early about the cockroaches, which I have videos of they have roaches underneath the drawer under the induction board, which is where you cook literally and roaches crawling down the curtain at the front window. The Wi-Fi cut in and out the entire time. The weather was bad. This trip was just very mediocre to be in Daytona for an entire week. It felt like a waste of money and I forgot to mention when sweeping the room, we found a half of a pill that my children I had two small children with me, could’ve picked up and eaten thinking that it was candy. It was a pink pill cut in half."

"This property has a very nice lobby area. It was clean and updated nicely. The rest of the property could really use an update as well. The halls and room smelled musty. The chairs at the pool were falling apart. The "restaurant" was only open to serve breakfast which seems like a waste to have the ability to offer other meals and not do so. The good thing is there are plenty of places within walking distance to get food. Our interactions with staff were all lovely."

"Room was cleanish. Air condition sets behind curtains when closed and prevents air movement when on and curtains closed. Desk staff were great, management was unaccessible during stay for issues. Parking was very limited "

"Great option for a beach view, no frills, clean stay near Daytona at a great price! We were in town for Cheer Nationals and this place met our needs. We typically stay at Marriott properties so we hold the bar high as to what we expect. High points- oceanfront room with great views, pool area is very clean with ample seating/grilling area/and a great layout. The hot tubs and fire pit areas were clean and inviting. Free parking, small gym, and beachfront access. Each room has a small kitchen with everything you would need including full size fridge. Areas for improvement- check in was a bit disorganized but you can see they are working out the kinks. There is no coffee in the lobby and to me this a big thing that would elevate the experience. The rooms have just opened after renovations and they are working through that process- one of the tvs in our room didnt work, not a huge deal but we would have liked to watch that one evening we were there. If you can get this place for a good price I would not hesitate to book again. Price point was defiitely better going through expedia. "

"Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The service, location, and staff were absolutely ideal for our stay. Every team member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to our needs. The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette and a full-size refrigerator. It’s was a big balcony with a partial ocean view."

"Old outdated buildings. Nothing up to date. No continental breakfast as advertised. No coffee pot in room or else where. No safety chains on door. If there were any availability elsewhere while I was in Daytona I would’ve left"
