"The hotel feels luxurious and the room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel is well equipped with access to a gym and dining options. The location is not far from the centre and Old Town in a taxi, under 10 mins. You can get a bus but we didn’t do this. Getting a taxi to the hotel from the train station was a bit of a nightmare when you haven't pre-booked a transfer, so would hughlt recommend arranging transfers in advance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and added to the experience, giving recommendations on where to see. The location doesn't have much going on, but is nice and quiet at night and there are a couple of nice restaurants directly opposite the hotel and a lovely beach nearby. "

"Our stay was nearly perfect. The room was comfortable and perfectly located. I do wish I had not noticed that the floor was not properly swept (corners of room) but I didn’t think it was a massive problem. They provided complimentary drinks from the room’s mini fridge and the lobby had a pretty cool coffee machine that was available at all hours and was kept very tidy and neat. The location was perfect— very close to beach and plenty of restaurants. Out stay in San Sebastián was amazing and having a great room definitely contributed to our overall experience in this beach town. "

"We enjoyed a very pleasant short stay at Casa Nicolasa. This pension is ideally situated close to the old town. The staff were friendly and particularly helpful. The room we chose waste with a terrace. These rooms are at the back of the property and, whilst it is nice to have outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine, the view is only of the surrounding buildings. On reflection we might have opted for a room with balcony at the front of the property. That is a minor detail which did not detract from a very enjoyable experience."
