"The staff were very helpful, room clean and

, serviced daily. Our room was spacious with excellent, clean bathroom facilities, and amazing views to the lake. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. The historic nature of the hotel has been retained in the modern facilities making it a unique place to stay. Centrally located, it was easy to walk to everything in the central city. The hotel was more than I had expected."

"We had a fantastic stay at Altstadt Magic in Luzern. The hotel is right in the heart of old town and less than a 10 minute walk to anything you would want to see. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Ekaterina who helped us to get our lost luggage from the airline. She was very communicative throughout the process. The room itself had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains"

"Nice boutique hotel with a decent breakfast. Room as comfortable and reasonably spacious by central European standards. Is on the river with good views from most rooms. Access by car is nit easy due to pedestrian only streets necessitate doing a U turn to get back out. Parking is a 3 block walk, across the river. So if you have luggage you will want to unload at the hotel (parked on the side of street with hazards on) before parking. Getting to the parking is tricky if you miss the turn into...

"Great location; very good breakfast! Janine served GF bread to my husband and he was happy! USB plugs in room were not working but we were fine. Good sized room; bathroom had a tub! I’m not a fan of the combined shampoo and body wash; I missed having some lotion and conditioner."
