The staff were friendly and accmmodating, The evening started with a complimentary drink (either sangria or an old fashioned). Being directly on King street , it allowed for easy walking to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. The free King street trolley was an added bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable "

"This was one of my best travel experiences, ever. The hotel is walkable from the local Amtrak station and nestled on King Street with access to a free trolley (to local shops/eateries and the Potomac waterfront). The hotel's bar/grille and newly-opened HomeGrown breakfast and brunch were phenomenal. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. And the staff was top notch - giving local tips and even helping me celebrate my birthday with a special treat. I will definitely return. "

"Excellent location, comfortable rooms and great staff. Suggestions for improvement: Overnight parking is very tight; I wish the spaces were a little bigger (and safer) I wouldn’t mind paying a little more. Also No closet hanging space or bathroom fans. "

"Stay started by being greeted by friendly staff at the valet stand as well as front desk. Room was spacious, clean and accommodating. It was late so I opted to have dinner at the hotel and the server was wonderful! The area is safe, lovely with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel! "

"This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year."
