The King Street House by Kasa

"This is my second Kasa property. The space was great, easy to find, comfortable, quiet, clean. The check-in was a catastrophe. A little background: they send a link to complete registration in advance of your arrival: you have to upload an official picture ID. Unfortunately, my driver's license expired (oops) and their link was broken, only allowing me to upload a driver's license, which, of course, they rejected twice. I tried using their text and messaging tools to contact them for help but they didn't respond. I had to call (twice) over the course of two hours to get the help I needed. Unfortunately, I had to become STERN (ick) which I did not enjoy but it was after 9PM when I made the second call to their customer service and I had to re-explain the problem. Saturday night in Alexandria VA with no confirmed hotel room is not great. The second call resulted in a fix. All they had to do was send me a new link. I uploaded my passport and immediately got my hotel access codes. Also, they refunded a portion of my stay and gave me a spectacular room with a courtyard. lol"

"I loved this hotel. My only complaint was there was a sticky spot on the rug and it had a lot of stains. Other then that it was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was very nice"

"I arrived around 11am, and I told the young man at the desk that I knew I was too early to check in, but I was wondering if I could leave my bag there while I went to grab lunch and wait for the check in time. He asked me to hold on, and then he said there was a room available! I was not expecting that at all and especially on Labor Day weekend. It’s a really cute hotel, and it really is located in the perfect spot. It’s in the middle of everything without being right in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Absolutely the perfect home ,if you want to stay in the Alexandria/DC area. We hopped on the train into DC , just 1 block walk to metro. We went to the King street Farmers market in Alexandria, walked the steet into the shops , had lunch at a local place . Took the metro ito Arlington Cemetery, amazing place to see. The house has 2 - comfortable king beds, 1 comfortable queen room - washer / dryer . - We used IT daily. Stocked with suplies ,in kitchen and bathrooms . We loved it , ! Also, the local swimming pool is right behind the house , for just 3 dollars (senior,price) was able to use pool All day, cone and go as you please ! Perfect for families with kids. THE waterfront is at end if King Street, and you can hop on the water taxi there. Orctake a evening dinner cruise . WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE ON THE EAST COAST . ! ONE NOTE , the traffic is crazy busy SO expect extra tavel time if you take your car . My favorite thing was the Gorge Washington's Mount Vernon. one last mention-the host was kind enough to call , and say Hello . 懶"
