"It was a fairly nice place. We stayed in the front building on the third floor. The open balcony across the front was shared if you want to sit out which is fine. Great view! The carpet on the balcony really needed to be replaced. My big issue was there were no blackout drapes so the room never got dark at night. The overhead outside lights stayed on all night which would have been fine if the rooms had blackout curtains. The blinds were built into the patio doors and were light filtering. Just could not get a good night's sleep."

"It was a great house and property we had my daughters wedding at the York Harbor Inn across the bay. There was plenty of parking and took all the pictures of wedding party there. All the girls got makeup and hair and dressed . It was perfect . Dana was very helpful with everything . Pool was 78 degrees at the end of May witch was also great . There was plenty of room for everybody who came over after the wedding . Everybody loved the place"

"York , Maine is lovely. Our room at he STAGE NECK INN did not have hot water in our shower and there was nothing bathtub as pictured.When we told the front desk we were told they were aware and there was nothing they could do until after our stay was over. They said they could not upgrade our room because we booked through Expedia. The view of York Beach was lovely from our Balcony. The Spa is closed on Monday and Tuesday, our stay was Sunday- Tuesday. I am very disappointed with the management and the lack of accountability regarding the hot water situation, especially after finding out they were aware of the problem prior to our arrival. The beds were cozy comfortable and the sound of the waves on the seashore was wonderful. The waitstaff in the dining room were all kind and very friendly."

"I loved this motel. Our room on the inside was impeccably clean. All the amenities were terrific, and we loved the ocean view balcony we had. However, the outside of the motel, and hallways, and staircase were awful. The rugs were worn out and shifting all around under my foot. There were spider webs all over the railings, and as someone who had ankle suregery, and needed the railings to hold on to, it was dirty, and sticky and gross. All the outside hallways and stairs looked really worn and old. Our balcony had spider webs on the railing also, alot, it was really gross.. I wiped them down, but they were back the next day. The rug on the balcony floor was old, the chairs and table were old and rusted, and when you sat in them they sunk so far down, you could not see the view without looking through the spider webs. The railing was jiggling and loose, we were afraid to lean on it. I am still very happy we stayed there, however I believe in honest reviews, or else they are not helpful."
