"Really characterful property with basic but nice clean rooms with amusingly uneven floors upstairs highlighting the age of the property. Excellent breakfast "

"Parking was excellent. However when we got into our superior double room, the dual aspect views were fantastic but some of the issues we found were a bit upsetting as we spent £175 for 1 night. There was mould on 1 of the walls by the wardrobe, there was wood chipped off bedside table by side window and 1 of the lamps by the tv didnt even have a light bulb in it."

"The heating & hot water was not working when we arrived. There was no customer support from the staff. An electric radiator could have been put in the room to preheat it and courtesy tea/coffee provided as it was cold and snow forecast. We felt there should have been someone experienced managing the situation. Therefore we decided to cancel annd leave after waiting for three hours. "

"No heating the small oil heater not sufficient. Had to ask for towels as the previous ones wouldn't be able to dry No top of coffee or milk etc No flexibility of the already booked table Some members of the team not very helpful "
