"Proper old English pub feel and atmosphere right in the heart of Winchester. Staff very helpful, friendly and clearly well trained. Food was excellent and of good value."
"Room 3, an Indugence Room. I’d say it could be more indulging - larger bed, mattress topper, bathrobes - for example. Unfortunately it’s above the pub so can be noisy, especially when the staff run up and down the creaky stairs - we spent the night in our room and it was a constant irritation.
But other than that, the food is excellent, lovely decor, nice atmosphere, and Stockbridge is awesome."
