We visited in April and couldn't be happier with the property. One night we were watching a family movie but the northern lights stole the show. "Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"The villa is perfect!! Location, views, layout, amenities, just everything! The pictures do not come close to actually being there and seeing it yourself. The views of the water and sunset were spectacular. The house itself is very well appointed and I am buying the same coffee maker for myself! We easily drove 30 minutes or so in every direction of the villa to all the amazing waterfalls, craters, beaches, and more around the golden circle of Iceland. We spent the evenings on the massive deck...

Buubble Hotel-Ölvisholt

10/10 Excellent

"We spent our first night in Iceland at the Buubble Hotel and even though it was summer with no northern lights it was fun. The bubbles are well tucked into the trees so it felt private and we had eye shades (and we were exhausted) so sleeping was no problem. The heated mattress pads probably helped too! There is a walk up from the parking and the service house but there are also 2 nice bathrooms at the top near the bubbles."

"Overall magical stay! Cloudy weather for us but incredible views, you could see horses, sheep nearby. Coffee maker and mini fridge in room were helpful. Bed was comfy. Eye masks and earplugs provided were a nice touch. Sometimes hard to keep the flies out so def had to kill a few. One of the comforters was slightly stained. Easy to find off main road and close to gas stations and few restaurants. Great and would absolutely recommend a stay here! "

"Loved this spot; our whole group did! The pull-out couch was comfy for our movie night in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs which were super clean and very warm. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, lovely place to lay their head. My only recommendation to the property would be to add some curtains over all the windows to snuff the little bit of midnight sun that comes through the edges/slats. Thanks for having our group!"
