"We stayed for one night after completing the Golden Circle route. Room was great, loved the door to the outside in the room. The breakfast was great! Lots of variety! The only thing we did not like is that every other room had outside patio furniture except for us...not sure why, but would have liked that. Also, just to know there are a lot of flies outside, but it's do-able."

"Very close to Vik including adventure tours, shopping, and natural beauty locations from there. View from hotel was spectacular. Washer/dryer available so can leave with clean clothes. "

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The amenities were top-notch, and we appreciated the little touches — from the local snacks provided to the thoughtful guide on when to expect peak aurora activity. This was one of the most unique and awe-inspiring travel experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines comfort, nature, and wonder — the Aurora Igloo is the place to be.
