"The room was very clean as well as common areas. The 2 ladies we interacted with at the front desk (Ava & Debbie) were awesome. I give both of them 5 stars."

"Great room with fantastic view of the bay. Very close to cafes, bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything in town"

"Clean and very tidy."

"Great stay. Thank you."

"Great experience and wonderful beach view"

"The room was clean, we were upgraded to a superior room, as we were staying 5 nights and they are the rooms that have a microwave. There was no tea towel, no forks, no washing up detergent or anything like that, very basic. The pool wasn't in operation, it was empty, for all the tine we were there, no mention of that when we checked it. It's just a basic motel, not a resort. Plus the large rubbish skip bin is in the driveway on the way to the units, it smelt putrid as you walked passed...

"This was a clean, well maintained room in a conveniently located motel. Easy to find, parking available and all the attractions within walking distance. Owner was really helpful with booking local attractions and recommendations of good places to eat."

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"Can’t go wrong."

"Lovely setting, lack of parking close to unit"

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...

"Everything was good. We did find our bathroom a little bit awkward. We couldn't shut the shower door with the bathroom door shut. Breakfast was good. The coffee could have been a little better. The view was spectacular."

"Absolutely loved this place. The view is amazing and the place is super comfortable and really clean and the hosts are very helpful. Would definitely recommend"

"Needed a relaxing home base for exploring the Northland area and Abri Apartments was a great choice. Our hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was extremely clean and updated. Nice kitchen. Spectacular views from the living room and bedroom. Comfortable lazyboy type sofas. Commercial quality laundry and dryer which dried quickly. Great value. Would return. Highly recommend"

"Excellent accommodation and wonderful hosts We had the pleasure of spending three days and three nights at Arcadia Lodge in Russell and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The lodge is exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and clearly run with great attention to detail. We would especially like to thank the fantastic hosts, Greg and Peter. They were always approachable, provided us with many great tips for activities in and around Russell, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout...
