"Lodge was spacious for 4 adults, clean and with a luxury feel. Park itself was a bit remote from anything else for us for a short stay and although a lot of money has been spent on a pool, shop, restaurant and bar it has not been well thought out or well staffed."

"The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. "This was our second time staying at Lynstone Lakes, and it didn't disappoint. The cabin was super clean, and had everything we needed, including a litre of milk, toilet paper and clean towels. The kitchen is really well stocked too with utensils and equipment. The location is brilliant, secluded so its quiet, but only a 15 minute walk into Bude along the road, or slightly longer along the scenic canal. "We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. Views are amazing and wildlife abounds from birds to rabbits don’t forget to look out for the bats at dusk. Centrally based so easy...

"Prima locatie dichtbij Exeter, Torquay en Dartmoor. De huisjes zelf zijn dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe. Onze keuken was vervallen, de apparatuur werkte wel, maar was zo oud dat we niet meer konden zien welke knoppen we moesten indrukken om eea te gebruiken. De douche en bedden waren goed, maar de rest vh meubilair was verouderd en aan vervanging toe. We konden niet op de bank zitten omdat deze doorgezakt was. De vloerbedekking zat vol met vieze vlekken."

"First impressions was fab, but on unpacking cuboards were not clean , box in bottom sink cupboard is dirty, .microwave needs throwing out ,very rusty inside . All the chopping boards need throwing out, very badly scratched ,very un healthy. curtains were dirty spiderwebbs with dead flies on, cobwebs everywhere.
