"A very nice property in a residential neighborhood. Not walkable, but easy access to restaurants and business close by via car. Ample on site parking. Friendly staff and nice breakfast room with ample fare "

"We stayed here back in 2020 and had a lovely experience so we were excited to return. The resort still has a lot of char, peaceful surroundings, a calming atmosphere and a great location for relaxation. However after five years it feels like not much has changed and not in a good way. The property is starting to show signs of wear and could really use some upgrades and better attention to detail. Breakfast was underwhelming this time around. The quality and freshness of the items weren’t up to standard. Coffee was terrible too. More disappointing were the cleanliness issues. We found a few hairs in the shower and bathroom which shouldn't happen in any hotel let alone a resort of this level."

"The accommodation suited us very well (family with 2 teenagers) - we were on holiday during a hot August, so the large pool was really fantastic, as well as the air con in the 2 bedrooms & the bbq/terrace for outdoor cooking. Alessandro is a very lovely host - he & his family were super welcoming and made us feel at home. Very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, where to buy food, beaches to visit and all the local attractions. We loved their dog and cats too! This was our first visit to Sicily and we were surprised, at first, with all the beaches that are 'private beach clubs' during the summer (we are from the UK, where most beaches are free). We opted for the 'free beach' which in the month of August, gets a little busy on the small parts/ends of the beach that are not private! However, Alessandro gave us some AMAZING suggestions for beaches & swim spots that were not too busy & away from the beach clubs and sunbeds. Just take a parasol and a picnic & you'll be very happy! You do need a car in Sicily. Highlights of our trip were: *Treking to natural freshwater pools - lovely and cool, in a beautiful setting in Cavagrande del Cassibile *A trip up Mount Etna (it was 5 degrees up top..take a jumper/hat/coat) *Spiaggia naturista di Marianelli (no - not a nudist beach! It is a nature reserve) *Boat trip with snorkelling, paddleboards and lunch (ask Alessandro!) *Ortigia *Drinking granita to cool down! *Aranchini - yummy! Great hols, grazie mille! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, Andrea the host was amazing and was always available offer advise regarding the local area. The villa itself well equipped and the Swimming Pool was perfect. It’s bigger than it looks. It was about a 15 min drive to Syracuse and Ortigia that offers many restaurants and places to see. I would fully recommend this villa / host. "

"Enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely property not far from Syracuse and in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Sicily. The apartment itself has been beautifully restored to a high standard with comfortable bedrooms a great living area and was very clean and functional. There is a lovely outside area and fantastic pool which the kids loved. The host, Alessandro was wonderful and welcoming - he gave us lots of useful information about the local area and was always on hand if we needed anything during our stay. Overall, I would recommend this lovely property for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to Syracuse and within easy reach of local sandy beaches."
