"We stayed here back in 2020 and had a lovely experience so we were excited to return. The resort still has a lot of char, peaceful surroundings, a calming atmosphere and a great location for relaxation. However after five years it feels like not much has changed and not in a good way. The property is starting to show signs of wear and could really use some upgrades and better attention to detail. Breakfast was underwhelming this time around. The quality and freshness of the items weren’t up to standard. Coffee was terrible too. More disappointing were the cleanliness issues. We found a few hairs in the shower and bathroom which shouldn't happen in any hotel let alone a resort of this level."

"The moment we checked in we knew we were in good hands, the manager and his wife greeted us with a warm, professional and friendly welcome . The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Every ! staff member was helpful, professional and friendly. Our room was very cleaned, quiet and large. Decorated simple clean lines, king bed was comfortable and all the linens were lovely.Two pools huge garden with paths to walk around, Hotel was a great location to drive our rental car to Syracuse and Isola Di Ortigia ,also close to beaches and seaside villages and restaurants near by. They have a great restaurant at hotel and breakfast had something for everyone. You do need a car to get around. Thank you to the staff we had a wonderful visit we felt very welcomed.We will recommend to our family and friends."

"The accommodation suited us very well (family with 2 teenagers) - we were on holiday during a hot August, so the large pool was really fantastic, as well as the air con in the 2 bedrooms & the bbq/terrace for outdoor cooking. Alessandro is a very lovely host - he & his family were super welcoming and made us feel at home. Very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, where to buy food, beaches to visit and all the local attractions. We loved their dog and cats too! This was our first visit to Sicily and we were surprised, at first, with all the beaches that are 'private beach clubs' during the summer (we are from the UK, where most beaches are free). We opted for the 'free beach' which in the month of August, gets a little busy on the small parts/ends of the beach that are not private! However, Alessandro gave us some AMAZING suggestions for beaches & swim spots that were not too busy & away from the beach clubs and sunbeds. Just take a parasol and a picnic & you'll be very happy! You do need a car in Sicily. Highlights of our trip were: *Treking to natural freshwater pools - lovely and cool, in a beautiful setting in Cavagrande del Cassibile *A trip up Mount Etna (it was 5 degrees up top..take a jumper/hat/coat) *Spiaggia naturista di Marianelli (no - not a nudist beach! It is a nature reserve) *Boat trip with snorkelling, paddleboards and lunch (ask Alessandro!) *Ortigia *Drinking granita to cool down! *Aranchini - yummy! Great hols, grazie mille! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, Andrea the host was amazing and was always available offer advise regarding the local area. The villa itself well equipped and the Swimming Pool was perfect. It’s bigger than it looks. It was about a 15 min drive to Syracuse and Ortigia that offers many restaurants and places to see. I would fully recommend this villa / host. "

"Great villa as described. We were 2 families with 5 X 19-13 year olds and the villa was perfect for us all - spacious, comfortable, each room with ensuite and a lovely pool. Close to all areas with car to Ortigia, Arenella beach, Siracusa, Noto etc. Salvo is a fantastic host, super friendly and always available to help with enquiries and making reservations for us.
