"Delightful Chambres’d Hote in a very quiet area not far off the motorway. V large room with big bathroom and a very nice meal provided on terrace overlooking the pool. Good breakfast and very friendly hosts."
"I love little secret hideaways and we found two of them on this trip. Suite 6 is tucked away in the finest of alleys. You will think Google maps has lead you astray but it has not! When you look at the pictures online you would never believe this property could be tucked away in this location. But there is it. It's gorgeous and we should have stayed longer. We were so tired and sore from days of travel. The hot tub was a welcome amenity. Having breakfast delivered the next morning was...
"Great little hotel in a small mountain town. Owner does not speak a lot of English but we were able to communicate with him with no problems. He is also super nice and friendly. Room is small but not cramped...keep in mind the building is hundreds of years old!! Hotel is hard to find because you can only see the restaurant from the main street. Bets thing to do is go through the restaurant and find the owner to get directions to the parking lot for the hotel."

Stylish Uzes Centre Apartment with a Large Terrace
8/10 Good
"It was a great place to stay , a couple of things to note, it was disappointing that we couldn’t use the terrace as the umbrella was broken. Also there was no cork screw when all French wine has a cork. The only other thing was it would be useful to have some information about how things work & what to do with garbage etc. otherwise the apartment was very comfortable. Thanks "
Charming apartment in the historic center of Uzès with air condition and parking
10/10 Excellent
"Great for 2 people. Comfortable bed, good shower, reliable internet, well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. Only 2 minutes walk from the Place aux Herbes. Reserved parking is 100m away. Check-in was easy."
"Uzès is a lively, historic town with great shops, restaurants and an enormous Saturday market. The apartment is very nice and compact and right in the centre, but with awkward access through a main building and around a garden. Not easy with wheeled suitcases. Parking on the street, only if there’s a free space, and the car park is at least a 5 minute walk away. Patio furniture hadn’t been cleaned (owner apologised) and it could be quite noisy when the restaurant next door was playing loud music!"

Uzes : lovely 18th century apartment overlooking on the castle
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely apartment, well-equipped for a perfect stay in Uzès. The view out the window of the castle and the pedestrian square is magnificent! Only a 5 minute walk to the parking garage is so easy, but also a great location for just walking to shops, restaurants, and the market. The bed is comfortable and all is very clean. Our host Brigitte was so kind and responsive to any questions during our stay. We highly recommend this 18th century apartment!"
Luxurious & comfortable apartment overlooking the Place aux Herbes
10/10 Excellent
"Perfectly located, exquisitely furnished, very comfortable apartment with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. While the second bedroom and bathroom are perfectly lovely, the master bedroom and bathroom are baronial. The kitchen is better than the kitchen in my home. "Fully equipped" doesn't do it justice. We couldn't look for something--no matter how odd--that we didn't find. The building, as you would expect, is old. There is no elevator. We're in our 70s and found the one flight of stairs a challenge; but younger, healthy people should have no problem. Also, be aware that the apartment is on several "levels"--there are one or two shallow steps almost everywhere, so tread carefully! All things considered, this was the best rental I've had from VRBO."
Artist's apartment with roof terrace in the historic heart of Uzès,, France
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this place so much we offered to buy it! Oliver is such a wonderful, talented man. He made us feel like family. This was ideal for us. There were lots of steps but that doesn’t bother us. We felt responsible for maintaining this lovely flat. We never turned on the tv, and spent many afternoons and evenings on the rooftop terrace. The only negative about the flat was the complete renovation of the first floor commercial space. The noise and dust was pretty bad. But at the end of the day I just grabbed a cloth and dusted the handrails. Easy! We wanted to live like locals in a place full of history, quirkiness, beauty and convenience. We did not bother with a car. We took the bus, trains, taxis and Uber wherever we went. We met wonderful people who were kind and generous even though my French is extremely limited. Going to the fountain and enjoying the lovely people who run Margaritas restaurant was almost a daily occurrence. We want to return next year. "
