"The hotel is a few kms from the local town and set out in the vineyards with a rolling hill landscape - very pretty. Easy parking - but it will get limited when hotel is busy. Check in was swift and friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor but a lift was available so no problem there. Spacious rooms and big, clean bathroom with both a bath and a shower. "Great hotel for visiting the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, and heading across the border to the Alsase region in France. We enjoyed the included breakfast to start off our day and had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. The staff was very friendly and multilingual and helped us with our limited Deutsch. The room was comfortable and thankfully well heated. Thanks to the management and staff for maintaining an historic hotel from the 1600s and keeping up with 21st century amenities. We look...

"I was in Oberkirch for a wedding on the hottest weekend of their year so far, which caused problems when it came to sleeping as there was no way to get the air circulating in the room. Also why only provide duvets when a sheet would have sufficed."
