"Ok let me start by saying that the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. A big thank you to Ricardo who kept sharing with us great meal spots around town, tips, etc... the rooms were clean and comfortable, AC worked just fine and the hotel is literally inside 3-4 blocks from the Zócalo downtown park area. Plenty of great restaurants to visit inside waking distance. Make a note that the hotel closes its main doors facing the street at 9pm which made us feel secure and they reopen in the morning. Noise was never an issue at this hotel, and we slept very comfortably. I was traveling with my wife and two teen girls, and never felt uneasy or unsafe at the hotel or walking around this beautiful city."

"This hotel is in walking distance to the Mercado and lots of restaurants! You can easily also find food stands plus lots of stores. The staff is great really friendly! And super helpful I extended my stay by one night and they were able to accommodate us without any issues!"

"This place is fantastic! It’s just one block from the city center, making it super convenient. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was a solid 10/10. One suggestion: it would be helpful if breakfast started before 8:00 am, especially for guests with early tours or travel plans."

"This hotel is a paradise few minutes away from busy Oaxaca Center. We had the best of both worlds. It is an old hotel (well maintained) therefore, rooms are VERY quiet and spacious with a wide view of the city and mountains. The gardens are gorgeous. All members of the staff were friendly and making sure everything was perfect during our stay. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet. Delicious. We did not look for other options. The hotel has taxi service and a also an evening shuttle to the downtown area. We drove. It was a 5 mins or less drive to the downtown area. We are hoping to go back soon. "
