"Front door staff was not at all welcoming or helpful…almost got the feeling that you were annoying them, however , the Resturant, bar and housekeepers were very kind and helpful As people working in this industry should be,"

"As a solo traveler this venue was such a hit. It’s no frills with the room but that’s totally fine. Upon entering, the hotel, community spaces and bedrooms were clean. The shower curtain in my room was stained on the bottom but that was probably the worst part about it. The staff were incredibly helpful. I was only there for two days and they answered al questions I had on day one. The booked ma taxi for my return flight and it was ready for me WELL BEFORE the time I asked for it. Which was...

"This hotel was the perfect place to stay in Oaxaca. It’s centrally located, making it easier to explore the city yet tucked away enough to provide a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for a much-needed nights sleep after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone greeted us with a smile, made us feel generally welcome, but the bar especially stood out. "Hotel De La Parra is a beautiful, clean property but what sets it apart from all others is the staff. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They work very hard to keep the hotel looking nice and clean. I throughly enjoyed my stay. It is right in the middle of all activities and quiet enough to get plenty of rest. Their pool was a great getaway. Try the mezcal margaritas!"

"The hotel was lovely even if far from the historic center."

There was some neighboring loud music noise from the day of the dead festivities but it would be a lot louder closer to the city center and probably not an issue for most of the year. Potable water is provided. Food: Continental breakfast was included but limited so we ordered a la carte dishes for breakfast. Simple dinner menu items are available. Staff: everyone was very helpful including the concierge service. Location:...

"It was clean, nice looking property, and the view was nice."

"Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff was super friendly. Great location within walking distance from all the main streets and shops."

"Room was dirty and smelled bad. Water was not safe to drink. We could not stay there and left for another hotel "

"La arquitectura del cuarto es excelente - muy amplio, limpio, bien distribuido."

"La casa está muy bien. La atención de la anfitriona muy oportuna y amable. Es amplia, cómoda. Para mi gusto un poco lejos del centro pero eso ya lo sabíamos. Solo hay jabón, no shampoo ni acondicionador que sería un buen detalle. La pasamos muy bien. "
