"B careful w hold on ur card. It's policy to present one so any "incidentals" can b charged if u broke or stole anything. Never in 20 years have I bn charged by Hilton/Hampton, but this location did! It was not a hold-it actually was a charge that cleared my bank! I immediately called the bank to investigate & stop the charge that was suppose to b a hold. Also, don't get an even room on 1st floor bc the parking lot to close to building so u hear every single vehicle in/out all nite & morning. Staff was polite & friendly except the one older lady that kept tryn to school me that it was a hold, not a charge (I have my bank acct image as proof!). Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is ok if ur hungry. Plenty of places in area that serve better food."

"I decided to write a review so that guest are able to make the best informed decisions. I booked our room to save money. I like to camp when traveling, but sometimes that’s not an option so we decided to save money. We can get over location, but there were some issues I that need to be addressed. Rooms are decent enough for $80. In any room the first thing I check is the cracks of the top sheet and where it tucks into the bed. NO issues, but I did notice that behind the bed against the wall was really gross. I also noticed the top sheet was inside out. (thoughts on this later). I left my phone while taking some time in the bathroom, and had no distractions. I couldnt help but look at where the wall meets the floor and it was caked with dust and hair. I did the whole TP swipe and it looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. Moving to the bed, my partner was wondering how often the comforter is washed, so we took it off only to notice many hairs, some long on the blanket underneath. This brought me back to the inside out top sheet and got me wondering if it was actually turned over between guests. Finally, preparing for bed and using a towel, I couldn’t help but notice the large stain… Look, I’m all for family run businesses and saving money is nice, but we both decided that there’s a floor to our cost saving, and we’ve met ours. That being said, if you wanna save $ you’ll be fine."

"Unfortunately there were amenities that weren't in use due to water issues in Kannapolis, so can't really rate those. I didn't like that when checking in no one asked for identification. That did make me a little uncomfortable as other hotels have always asked for my license to verify that I'm who I say I am. Other than that everything else was ok."

"It was the perfect stay for my niece’s wedding. Was only a 5 min drive to the venue and very relaxing while at the house. Peaceful. Beautiful. Quiet. Very comfortable. "
