"Great location as a base for visiting north of Spain. Host was helpful and good at sorting out our requests. Unfortunately the pool filter didn’t work well so we didn’t use it as often as we liked to. Bedroom wasn’t very clean when we arrived. The owner promptly re-clean the rooms again the next morning. It is in a residential area which worked well for us but might be difficult for someone without a car. It is a big house with a lot of unfamiliar appliances, we really would have liked to have someone on property with us at check-in. "Lovely peaceful time spent at this property. We were made most welcome and couldn’t have had a more successful stay. 15 min drive to the centre of Bilbao which is one of the best places I have visited."

"There is construction pretty close to the property, but it didn’t seem to get too loud. This wouldn’t be good for toddlers, as there are 5 flights of stairs. However, the elevator worked very well. "We have just had three nights here and what a fantastic three nights they were. The property is lovely and in the perfect location, just a short stroll from old town (5 mins) and new town (5 mins). Despite being so central it was very quiet, and we had two balconies with our room (204!) including a glimpse of the sea! All the staff were lovely and friendly, and provided a map with recommendations. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you "
