"We loved staying here! Our whole group had a wonderful time. Many listings aren't quite as nice as the pictures, but Villa Embil is even nicer than the beautiful pictures! It's spacious, plenty of bathrooms, big bedrooms, great kitchen, and the views are spectacular. We would come back anytime."

"This house in very confusing layout and the electronics for lights, curtains, gates, etc are confusing and difficult to use. The yard is not maintained. Great view of the ocean. This is in a suburban/rural area with no stores or shops near. Only 1/2 of the home was rented to us. b"

"The villa was just as described, very comfortable with a fabulous outdoor area and lovely yard. The village was charming with a great little restaurant called "Larri's", great food and reasonably priced. The area is stunning with gorgeous old villages and stunning vineyards all within an easy drive. Would certainly recommend. Miguel was great and very responsive, Thank you for a great stay!"

"Great location as a base for visiting north of Spain. Host was helpful and good at sorting out our requests. Unfortunately the pool filter didn’t work well so we didn’t use it as often as we liked to. Bedroom wasn’t very clean when we arrived. The owner promptly re-clean the rooms again the next morning. "It's a very attractive house, solidly built which helps it stay cool during the day. Inside, it is mostly open-plan with just the bathroom and one of the bedrooms separate. The furniture is stylish and the kitchen is quite well fitted out. The location is beautiful and ideal for hikers but it is a bit remote so you will definitely need a car. The house owner did a great job being accommodating and helpful, there was plenty of space, the beach up the hill was incredible, and it has a delightful porch to hang relax and hang out at night. Location is fantastic for visiting Rioja wineries. However the place is a bit outdated, pool a bit cold and small and the house could have been more clean."
