"Quiet, clean, good room, nice staff and pretty setting. Our in room coffee machine didn't work so well but we got good coffee in the office. I loved the rose bush full of beautiful dark pink roses in front of our room--didn't see any other rose anywhere near there. And there were 2 pomegranate trees with fruit. I'd never seen a pomegrante tree before. We enjoyed this retreat after our day activities."

"Location, location, location. This was a great place to stay if you are just focused on being at Yosemite. Prices reflect the convenience, but the rooms are very outdated. They have everything you could need on site so that is worth the price, but if you are looking for a more comfortable stay, you will have to travel a distance."

"We had a great time! The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. The telescope is a plus! The area is great for stargazing, even with your eyes, standing outside, you see so many stars, and the milky way. The house is 10 min from Mariposa, with great restaurants and stores, and a short 1h drive from Yosemite. We will definitely be back!"

"I stayed in a pet-friendly family suite (there were 3 adults and a small dog in our party) in mid-October. Great location to the Big Flat and Hetch Hetchy entrances to Yosemite. The staff is SUPER friendly and nice. There's a park across the street where I was able to walk my dog."

"Fantastic house right on the river. Just a few miles from Yosemite entrance. Our days were a quick breakfast, pack a picnic lunch then off on our adventures. Yosemite Valley, sequoias in Maricopa Grove. Hetch Hetchy and a walk along the lake, Cherry Lake was a beautiful spot. Back to the house after dinner. Great restaurants are in Groveland and at Rush Creek Lodge (reservations suggested)Don’t hesitate, this place is a great choice."

"The house was definitely nice and spacious. Would be a great place for multi-day stays. The check in/out process could use some updating - I didn’t receive any check in information until after messaging the host (which they responded quickly) and there wasn’t a lot of information for check out, other than just taking trash out. We were able to bring our dogs, which was definitely a plus! We would consider staying here again if in the area. The fridge/freezer had leftover food/condiments and the bathroom had used mouthwash, toothpaste and other items in there. There is a trailer on property as well, which was a surprise when we pulled up. The occupants pulled up later that night and left early the next morning but there were no issues relating to that.It is a little more remote than we anticipated (our fault for not doing more research on the area) so I’d definitely recommend making sure you have food with you."
