"We love staying here. The location is excellent!!! Basically walking distance everywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful, feels peaceful even when packed with people. There is a rather large and comfy seating area in the lobby. They have coffee and tea available all day. The breakfast is the absolute best and not to be missed. Very convenient way to fuel right before taking those 20k steps all over Kyoto. They provide umbrellas for rainy days. I think they have bikes as well. The bedrooms are a good size and if you are lucky you can get a view of the mountains and of Gion. The stunning river is just a short block and a half away. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Our rooms was kept clean and towels were refreshed every time we needed it. Highly recommend."
