"Our triple room (which I believe was a double with the couch converted) was slightly bigger than others we’d stayed in while in Japan. We had no view to speak of but it didn’t matter because we spent the majority of our time out, sightseeing and enjoying the city. I liked the hotel’s system for notifying staff of the need for a cleaning: a magnet on the door signifying the need for a full clean, change of trash bag and linens, or no service at all. Everything in the hotel felt relatively upscale. The entrance from the street (next to the Rolex store) was lovely, as there were fresh flowers and we were greeted by air conditioning and a really calming, fresh scent each time we entered. The other entrance (into the underground mall/subway complex) was very convenient and allowed us to teach destinations more quickly than if we were to brave the crowds on the streets above. Breakfasts were outstanding, and staff was clearly aimed at pleasing each guest. My only (very minor) disappointment was that, since I’d read there were laundry facilities on-site, I’d planned to do our laundry here. There were 2 machines, both tiny, and both full. However, we were able to toss our laundry into one rolling suitcase and take it to a proper laundromat a half mile away, and that worked out just fine. The hotel is quite nice, and I would most definitely stay here again."

"Nous avons sélectionné cet hôtel pour son excellent emplacement et sur ce point nous avons étés très satisfaits. Le petit marché bio au RDC est intéressant; bar au RDC relié à un resto, pratique pour la fin de soirée. Notre famille de 4 a séjourné dans la chambre « Grande ». Lits confortables et grandeur de la chambre acceptable. Nous aurions par contre apprécié plus d’espace de rangement pour éviter de garder les valises ouvertes... De plus, il y a un store opaque sur la fenêtre, que nous ne pouvons pas ouvrir, ce qui donne l’impression qu’il n’y a pas de fenêtre. C’est très dommage qu’il n’y ait pas d’autre chambre à 4 qui ait une fenêtre ou un balcon car les autres chambres de cet hôtel semblent très agréables. De plus, de grandes vitres claires entourent la douche, ce qui est très peu pratique en contexte familial où l’intimité veut être préservée. Il y a des stores, mais ils sont ouverts à chaque jour avec le ménage. Par ailleurs, on nous propose un petit-déjeuner à 4400Yen par personne, ce que nous considérons hors norme."

"Great room for 3 people. The rain shower was great and I wish I got to use the tub. Elevators were smooth and quick. Breakfast had a variety. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. My boyfriend left his wallet in an Uber and the staff took care of communicating with Uber and the driver for the return of it. The location is also great. Right by the river, the main shopping district and Gion. Incredible stay."

"The room was spotless! The staff were very nice and helpful, great location just a 10-min walk from Nishiki Market. The hotel serves coffee and has a hydration all day long. Breakfast was also good. Highly recommend!"
