This tiny metropark was once the garden of the Aulls, who cultivated local wildflowers to create a wild seeming area of hills, lawns, and forests surrounding their house. I’ve never seen anything like it. It is a place of deep serenity, peace, and beauty. We visited in early May and the bluebells and yellow poppies carpeted the forest floors and the “lilac lawn” was just beginning to bloom.
