"We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Town. It is in a quiet residential street less than 10 minutes from Enmachi Station and you get instructions how to get there in your information pack. It's 3 bus stops (roughly) from Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Temple) and we found it a good base for sightseeing in Kyoto by bus and train.
