"I stayed in the San Remo Hotel for 3 nights. As a solo female traveler. I found the hotel safe and comfortable. I had a small bathroom in my room and basically just used the room as a place to sleep. This is not a luxury hotel, but for the price and location, I was very pleased. San Remo is located between Fisherman's Warf and North Beach. It's just a short walk from so many good restaurants, tour companies, the cable cars, and even Chinatown. The hotel itself is charming and the staff is friendly. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are tiny and have very little insulation. So, if your neighbors are having a lound conversation, you will hear it. I would also mention that the hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a building over a restaurant. It would not be a good place to stay if you can't climb stairs. Bottom line, this hotel fit my needs well. And, for the price, it can't be beat. I would stay there again."

"It was in the perfect location, 711 is right acriss the street, it is so close to all things you'd want to do in San Francisco. It was clean, safe and we reslly enjoyed our stay. We will be back. "
