"Lovely friendly staff at check on and the bar. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was lovely and not crowded. Very close to Fistral beach, beautiful views from the lounge, some rooms have balconies which looked lovely."

Loved it!

"We loved staying at the Minerva Guesthouse. The hosts are lovely and thoughtful. as are the staff. It's really what makes this place special. The location is excellent, right near the beach for an early morning or evening walk when the tide is out. Our room for three was tight but with everything we needed: an excellent shower, comfortable, clean bed, and closet space. Go for the location, but stay for the hosts. "

"This property is so lovely, The hosts Karen and Andy are so warming and kind . Ted the poodle is so adorable too ! Everything was perfect, breakfast was fresh and really nice . We would highly recommend this guest house we have stayed in many over the years whilst travelling to Cornwall and is by far one of the nicest we have stayed in and we will be booking to stay again . We loved it , just perfect home from home 👍❤️"

"Down in Newquay for the bank holiday with friends on motorcycles. Twin room. I found the bed comfortable and the whole place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was a bit small for me (6’ 2” and 15 stone) but adequate. Food and drink was excellent. Would definitely use again."

"We stayed in the sea-view room on the top floor and it exceeded our expectations. Great view, clean, modern and comfortable, and impressed with the fridge, choice of teas, iron and fan. The WiFi was fast and reserved parking was easy. The breakfast was very delicious and we received top service. We also ordered the breakfast ‘to go’ bag on the second day which was efficient and thoughtfully put together. We had a sausage sandwich with fruit, yogurt and a juice. It was close and a short walk to the town centre. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and would like to thank the owners for their brilliant service. "

"We loved our night stay here! Was welcomed by a very friendly and chatty man, was very simple to check in and out. The view from our room made our stay, we fell in love with the balcony views. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. No complaints at all! And we can’t wait to book again, thank you "
