"The description of the Nuffield Health facility as a spa is somewhat misleading - it’s a sports club with a pool used for (noisy) swimming lessons, there is nothing relaxing about it as there are just 3 “beds” to sit on around the pool, and members make an issue of anyone having left a towel on there for just a few minutes (rudely removing it and taking the bed for their own use)."

"Functional hotel conveniently located within a service station, with plenty of parking."

"Hi..it is a genuine spa-hotel...not a hotel with a spa. Healthy food (but also wine etc..) and it was delicious. Staff and amenities were solid and the rooms were 'fine' nothing over the top...but they do have Elemis lotions and creams in massive containers to use so even if you're not in the spa you feel like you are !!!"

"Disappointing that the breakfast description from reviews was "with some guests finding it plentiful and others appreciating the free and simple offering" it was more on the simple side, as in it was a selection of cereal and some bread to do toast, and with Orange and Apple Juice options and the usual Tea/Coffee. Also on the pictures, number 8 (as I type this) implied a goody bag was provided, but wasn't. Particularly, it looked like a yoghurt pot. There wasn't even yoghurt provided at...

"We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again."

"It was very good"

"Great stay !!"

"Perfect, everything I needed for my short stay"

"Very friendly welcome. . Pub staff really helpful and made me feel at ease. .Property is a 20 minute walk from train station. . Rooms are above a pub, so expect some noise, but it didnt bother me. . I was given a beautiful double room! with the most comfortable bed, bright white towels, window that opened(hate hotels that you cant open a window). .Very warm and fresh. . .the tea tray had bottled water which was good.,and small toilettries provided. .the actual hotel was quiet, and I felt safe as...

"Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great."

"Great location with easy access to the area. Really helpful staff. Food was well prepared and tasty. Rooms had all that you needed with some nice wee extras such as bottled water, coffee bags. Tissues toiletries"

"Fantastic resort. High quality bedrooms, facilities, great fresh food at dinner (amazing burger) and breakfast. Will definitely stay here again."

"Lovely location near to Bedford with a good pub food and friendly staff. Rooms in need of an update but comfortable and so no real complaints."
