Aptly named Nice Hotel. Quaint and Quirky. Loads of character and charm. Spacious and well set out. Chef provided excellent food. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Handy to downtown New Plymouth. Would stay again if ever returning to the region.

Loved the silver milk jug in our room, comfortable bed, jazzy pictures, robes, spa bath, port in the wee library, everything was quirky. Dog friendly too. The restaurant looked fabulous, so much to see. Friendly hosts.

A Really Nice Hotel

Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Right next to a main road so could be a little traffic noise at night. Very central and right opposite St Mary's Cathedral

We had a lovely time at The Nice. Great atmosphere, decor, close to CBD, waterfront & Pukekura Park. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Great restaurant for dinner. Next time we'll book one of the rooms that doesn't back onto Vivian St, which gets very busy & noisy.
