"Whilst the property was in a very convenient location right next to the ferry, the room advertised was not at all what we were given. Very disappointing, very grubby, dried blood drips in bath tub made it feel totally disgusting..one of the reasons we booked was for the jet tub..unusable. The furniture was old and the decor was like stepping back to the 1980’s and again, not the pictures online. Receptionist was very rude and unfriendly which set the tone too. "Island Leisure Resort is a great place to stay when visiting Maggie! No fuss, clean and tidy apartments with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is wonderful, my son loved the games room and the staff are so friendly and helped out with all my questions. There are places to eat nearby, however I would recommend booking in advance to ensure a spot. The Foodworks is overpriced and not great quality, grab your supplies at the Ferry Terminal's IGA if you can. Overall, a lovely place to stay at Island Leisure Resort!"
