"Fabulous room, very tastefully appointed, with a huge bed and good size en-suite shower room. The staff are, without exception, friendly helpful and obliging. The architecture is unusual, attractive and interesting, with a little bit of a safari lodge feel to it. The staff and service were excellent. In particular Raganan was brilliant and looked after us very well. Incredibly good value for money and a short Tuk Tuk ride into Negombo town. "

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. Be aware of beach salesmen. Would recommend this hotel."

I and another solo traveller were there at Christmas, the owner invited us to his house for a Christmas party which was tons of fun. I got the sense he would do anything to make a guest happy. Food was great. Sleeping accommodations were a tremendous value. Overall, a great place to stay."

"Really nice place to stay if you are on a low to mid budget. The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. For the price the rooms are big with a separate bedroom(ensuite) and a sitting and kitchen area. The Kitchen has a gas hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and enough crockery and cutlery for 4 people. Our room had a nice outside seating area as well. Other rooms look directly onto the pool. Lewis place is a short walk or a quick taxi ride to all the restaurants and bars. The...
