The hotel’s position was excellent on the beach and the staff were lovely. The downsides were the terrible mattresses in the rooms and the small of mould. Food was good. The gym, shared with Jetwing Beach, was out of the ark or at least the 1980s.

Lovely for a relaxing stay!

It was my second stay, 12 days after 7 days last year. I’ll probably go and stay again. Last year it was part of a 3 week stay in Sri Lanka, my first visit. This year, I stayed put. Nice sunsets. Friendly, nice hotel staff. Large, comfortable rooms. Classy!

The staff really shine at this establishment. I felt welcomed upon arrival and helped with scheduling my check-out/airport transportation. The beach area is just stunning and I will definitely return to take advantage of the pools and seating areas.

Great option for outside Colombo. We arrived on a late night flight, and only about 30min drive from the airport. The property is positioned well with a variety of restaurants and shops around. The pools were great, long enough to do a few morning laps. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of options, and nice looking out over the beach.

Booked a triple room. They had to put in the extra bed. Tried to charge us for it but we insisted we had already paid for it. They finally let us have it for no extra cost. Facilities good. Breakfast Lavish Staff- Indika greeted us each time we returned to the hotel. Was very helpful overall Good hotel for families

The rooms were very spacious, the grounds were lovely. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired (slightly damaged shower head, the bath was a little grubby / stained. Nothing bad, just repeated usage). The area is replete with restaurants, bars, mini marts and souvenir shops. The beach biews are awesome.

Beautifully designed hotel with lovely spacious rooms and communal areas with stunning sea views. The property is a little tired but this is offset by the design. Rooms are cool with good a/c and bathrooms are well appointed. There is a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel - cool cafes, good bars and restaurants as well as plenty of tuktuks on standby to visit the town if you want to explore. Conveniently located for airport and Colombo and the hotel drivers we hired for airport drop and Colombo city tour were good. Overall had a really good experience during our 4 days stay and would definitely recommend to others and hopefully we will visit again someday.

Overall, an enjoyable stay

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Jetwing Blue. On arrival, we were greeted very nicely and had our bags sent to our room. The rooms are large and quiet. The blinds on the windows dont do much, so we used eye masks. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive. We were there when it was busy, so it was a bit of a hassle to get an omlette. The wait staff were a bit slow for a cup of tea and were not as friendly as other staff members. They were busy though, maybe that is why. The pool is excellent and pretty big.

The hotel is well located right on the beach with an amazing spacious pool. Restaurant had a wide selection of local and international food to suite most. Staff always smiling and helpful with most having very good English. We were made to feel extremely welcome during our nine day staff. The hotel was safe and secure and we used it as a base to travel the country. Only a few things really need tweaking. My wife used the Spa and wasn’t that impressed. The staff tried hard but wasn’t really skilled enough for the Spa treatments on offer. Apart from the pool there’s nothing much for children so maybe set up something that kids can enjoy ( face painting, henna, some form of craft workshop). Overall myself and my family would recommend this hotel, it’s close to the airport (30 min drive) and very comfortable and reasonably priced for families
