Also easily walked to very special restaurants after using the hot baths. Most important, the staff could not have been more wonderful. They went above and beyond on every occasion — including escorting us to our cab with umbrellas in the rain. Our favorite so far. "

"The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. We had one of the smaller rooms, but still way more spacious than something in Tokyo within our price range. The room and private bath were so beautiful. We ordered the Japanese dinner and breakfast and it is a must if you stay here! You’ll try foods authentic to Nara specifically and the amount you receive is more than plenty. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone even for just one night, as that is what we did to relax...
