"Jason on reception was very helpful and guest friendly. Loved the amenities and being on the beach. Breakfast, wine social and cookies were awesome.....things like these really made our stay that bit more special. Room was clean and well decorated. Our only "room for improvement" would be that due to the humidity ( i realise its the beach in summer) but the room did smell very moldy and the wall behind the air conditioner was soft and caving. The outdoor pool could have been vacuumed out to since there was a lot of sand in it. These small things would not stop me staying here again as the pluses outweighed the minuses."

"The Carolina cottage is amazing! But even better was the host Jeanne! Thank you for checking in and asking us if we needed anything. Your home is beautiful, spacious and clean. It was really fun feeding the turtles on the back patio. Everything you would need in a home the Carolina cottage has. And the village beach club is very nice as well.. just keep in mind you have to pay 30 / week to pay due to it being under new ownership. When we return to the Outer Banks, I know where I’m going to return …the Carolina cottage! "

"We absolutely loved the location. It was so easy to access beach and pool. Kitchen was stocked well, no problems cooking fullmeals. Only suggestion would be to improve bedding in the bunk bed rooms. The beds need upgraded mattresses. Hot tub was nice but was never serviced while we were there. The cleaning guy came and left without doing any cleaning. I just hate for the owner to pay for a service they didn’t receive. I would recommend this house. We had a great time."

"Our family of 18 stayed at Cape Coral and had a fabulous week. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived and was plenty big enough for our family. The 2 refrigerators plus 2 other smaller ones, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee makers and double oven were definitely utilized for our family meals. Having the golf cart made it easy to transport gear to the beach. We spent many hours poolside in the pool and hot tub. The host company was extremely responsive in replying to any questions/concerns that we had. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. We would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely place with cozy furniture and plenty of space for the four of us. However, the door code lock/unlock was on the fritz, so we had to use the lock box key. The twin bed really needs a new mattress, as no one could sleep on it and ended up using the couch instead. The small bedroom has the furnace in a closet running constantly and is a little noisy. It was nice having two bathrooms, even though they were rather small. The one with the tub could use a handrail grip and perhaps something to prevent slippage and a bathmat. The dishwasher is on its last legs, and I noticed it had been held together with zip ties just to keep it working. Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and cookware. Parts of the floor were uneven, which can catch you off guard. Overall, very nice stay and appreciated the easy communication and directions."

"Great property, well kept and appointed.Host very quick and clear on communication.Location is great, easy to access to restaurants, grocery, and shops. There’s like 5 pizza places within 5 minutes. Beach was excellent and the distance from public access cutdown on a lot of crowds. There is beach refresh work that occurs so check on that. Luckily it was part this space by the time we got there.We had 4 adults and 3 kids, which gave us an extra room we didn’t use. I inquired about a BBQ grill and the host brought one over with in 1 hour! (No charge).We should have rented a gas grill. We did rent umbrellas and wake boards which was easy. We did use the neighborhood pool one time, it’s a good alternative if the ocean has red flags out. Laundry machines were nice and newer. Essentially with all properties in the area it’s multi-story with the kitchen on the 3rd floor from the street level. You will get your flights in, especially unloading / loading. With all rentals some things here and there could benefit from some updating. I have no doubt if we need anything additional during our stay the host would have been on top of it. Thanks so much!"
