"We had a lovely oceanside stay here. The hotel has a quiet, charming, homey feel. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. I only wish the breakfast would be served a bit earlier than 8 am."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron. There was a stain on one of the bed sheets (the front desk gave me a replacement) and some sort of splatter on the wall which I cleaned. Other than that the room the room was fine. It included a refrigerator and small stove top. Both pools were closed."

"The beach access was the best I’ve ever had!! Less then 100 steps and you’re at the beach!"

"Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. The hotel does have a good location."

"A/C worked great, parking is easy, good location to beach."

"We stayed 3 nights, the office is only open 9am-8pm, so plan on checking in before 8pm. We had to take our own garbage out, as we never saw a cleaning person. We needed new towels but were usually up and gone before the office opened and back after it was closed. The room itself was ok, the bed was slanted so it felt like we were sleeping downhill. The door does not seal well so as others opened and closed their door, ours rattled and lots of light came in around it. Parking was fine, beach was steps away."
