This location was a much bigger and busier hotel and a little less clean (the tatami mats in the room were a bit more aged and little more dirty in some spots). otherwise the hallways and common spaces were clean. we appreciated being able to check into our room an hour early as it was ready and also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and onsen. the onsen was spacious and had several different bath options. The location was also central to kyoto station and the kyoto tower. Easy to catch a cab from to/from this location as well. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking to have a onsen and comfortable and central stay (to the station) while visiting kyoto."

"Updated older hotel, but very well kept hotel with good sized rooms. Buffet breakfast is excellent. There is a 7-11 across the street and restaurants and shops, including a supermarket (Fresco) all around the hotel. It is only a few blocks from two MRT lines. Staff were friendly and offered excellent service. "
