"The staff were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was good, as were the sandwiches we had the night before. It is a cheap hotel so you could forgive some maintenance issues such as some bubbling of paint. However, the desk in our room had had the edging damaged along over a metre of the front. This exposed the chipboard it was made from and so there was a risk of splinters. We would, however, stay here again."

"No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. "

"Host was very welcoming and property was cosy with everything you needed. There were a couple of things that needed fixing - the kitchen tap was very loose and the door lock needs attention other than that a very enjoyable stay."

"Our stay was great! The host was easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and well maintained. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is also just a short walk to stores and restaurants. We would definitely choose Saks Villa again when staying in town."
