"The hotel was in a great location, all staff were very friendly and super helpful before and after my procedure that I was in town for. I had a great experience and I would rebook. I would recommend having an onsite microwave for convenience for anyone that that is staying for more than a couple days at a time but other than that everything was great."

"The beds were uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back every morning and I’m not even that picky. Also the location next across from the pier is amazing but the best coffee shops and restaurants are at least a 20 minute walk away if you don’t have a car. The staff was very helpful and gave me great tips and suggestions about the area and it was so clean and very safe but if you’re a midlife girlie looking for some R&R you might want to find a different spot."

"Perfect hotel if you are there just to sleep. The staff was super nice and accommodating. My only issue was an odd smell that fortunately went away after opening the window. Other than that, affordable and only a 30 minute walk to Venice beach. "

"I travel a lot and go from hotel to hotel. I chose this hotel because it has a pool and it was extremely hot in LA. But when I arrived the pool was getting emptied and the next 2 days there was unbearable noise for pool maintenance (jackhammer all day — see video provided). To the point that I couldn’t work in the room and had to get out for 2 full days during the maintenance hours. I have a lot of work and swapping hotels was not possible for me last minute but I asked for a discount gesture (to their discretion) given that I could not use the room for 2 full days but they refused (and nothing warned about this during the booking process, there only was a piece a paper warning that “there may be some noise”, which is absolutely not matching the huge disturbance this created. I’ve never seen this in a hotel before (I would have been fine with a small gesture). I would avoid Wyndham in the future as they are not customer focused at all. "
