"We recently stayed at Hotel Cavour and had a great experience overall. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made a big difference to our stay. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Florence, making it very easy to explore all the main attractions on foot. For the price, it offers really good value considering the central location and overall quality. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to start the day properly. All in all, a solid choice if you’re visiting Florence—comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced with great service."

"Beautiful hotel in a safe neighborhood with clean rooms and very beds. Walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, and a few blocks away from the busiest tourist areas. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, although one front desk worker (older man, bald with glasses) was unnecessarily rude to us when we accidentally locked our keys in our room. The housekeepers were also VERY loud in the mornings—we were tired from traveling and trying to sleep in and they were in the hallway right outside our door talking extremely loudly, yelling to each other, and banging things around in the nearby rooms from 8am until we left at noon. It definitely disturbed the otherwise peaceful environment. Also, the AC unit in our room did not work, but we didn’t ask for help because the front desk man had been rude to us. We asked a maid and she seemed annoyed and just told us to open the window, although it was very warm outside. It’s a nice hotel but the employees could use some better customer service/hospitality training. "
