We enjoyed eating the continental breakfast on the patio outside each morning and loved relaxing by the pool after exploring during the day. "It was a privilege to stay at the clos. The property is a beautifully managed winery and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. They live on the estate and graciously share their knowlege. Our only suggestions would be some fans or dehumidifier for use when it is very hot. While the home stays cool if the doors are closed, it also gets damp since it is stone. Many thanks to Claude and Francine for their hospitality. "

The blooming rose garden and nearby fields of vibrant poppies added to the serene ambiance. "This is a lovely rustic country house on an acreage minutes away from Amboise. The hostess Marie-Josephe is a lovely woman who is very generous with her produce from her garden and fruit trees. Her free range chickens are entertaining and the eggs are delicious! We would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, out of the way location, yet within minutes to Amboise, the Chateau, restaurants, and vineyards!"

"We didn't receive entrance instructions until after we were already there waiting. There was also no general instructions for the apartment, we had to dig around to find the Wifi password. It would be helpful to have instructions for the appliances as well... I spent time on the internet looking up the washer to figure out how to work it. It was spacious and comfortable, but given the hot temperatures it would be great to have a fan in the apartment. "
