"The deluxe room was well designed for travelers, with a good bed, toilet separate from a great shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of closet space and enough room. It was superb value for the price. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast also good value. The hotel isn’t modern but has character and is comfortable. It is in a good location, readily accessible to the sights of Tours and the railway station but also well situated for quickly driving out of town to visit chateaux. The parking, for which one pays extra and needs to reserve, is tight, so we wished we had had a mid-size instead of full-size SUV (which would have also been better for some of the narrow country roads outside of Tours). The gym only has a few cardio machines but one could probably get a good workout at a fitness club not far away. We didn’t try the mini-pool or hamam but they looked nice."

"We stayed as a family of four. There were building works ongoing, which we did not know about before, but were informed of immediately when we checked in. The dining room and bar were not available but the hotel did offer a breakfast bag option as an alternative. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable and there was aircon and a fan provided which was good. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped. The location is great, a 10 minute walk into the centre of Tour and we managed to park on the street outside the hotel for free. We booked through Hotels.com and the booking said we got a free drink on arrival, we were not offered that but I assume that is because of the maintenance works."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et sommes vraiment ravis de cette location ! La maison est très agréable, parfaitement propre et correspond exactement aux photos et à la description.L’emplacement est vraiment idéal : à seulement quelques minutes à pied des commerces et du centre historique et touristique de Tours, tout en étant située dans un petit coin très calme. C’est vraiment appréciable de pouvoir tout faire à pied et de retrouver ensuite le calme de la maison.La maison est également très bien équipée : extérieur très agréable, climatisation dans chaque chambre ainsi que dans le salon, et de très belles prestations dans l’ensemble. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié toutes les petites attentions à notre arrivée : produits d’entretien et tout le nécessaire étaient à disposition, ce qui est vraiment pratique lorsqu’on arrive en location.Tout était réuni pour passer un très bon séjour : la maison, son confort, son emplacement et l’accueil. Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien et y reviendrions avec grand plaisir. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !"
The charm of a family home in Tours

"We had an outstanding stay in Tours. This property is exactly as advertised and a wonderful location and environment to vacation with friends and family. We spent more than 4 weeks here touring the town and surrounding castles and loved every minute despite the tremendous heat. The house is spacious and comfortable and well appointed with everything one needs to cook, relax, or easily get to restaurants, supermarkets or pharmacies. It has a fan for every bedroom (and we bought another 2!) and has 3 bathrooms with 3 showers. Our favorite part of the house was the outdoor patio in a private garden. The old town and the train station are an easy 15 minute walk from the property which is located in a safe, quiet, family-orientated neighborhood. Marie was easy to communicate with, responsive, and super helpful with anything and everything we needed. Other than the brutal canicule (heat wave), both Tours and the house were charming, lovely and so much fun. Highly recommend this property!"

"Reception staff very helpful with good instructions as you need a couple of codes for the out of hours door and car park door. Apartment was a good size with a useful kitchenette. Parking was easy access on the level with plenty of space. Handy supermarket next door with cheap fuel pumps. Easy walking distance to centre of Tours (10 mins)"
